Hyundai WTCR team BRC reveals online launch plans

BRC Racing Team will formally launch its WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO campaign - live online.

The Hyundai i30 N TCR-equipped team is hosting the event at its headquarters in Cherasco, Italy, from 10h30 local time on Saturday 10 March.

Available via the BRC's social media channels including in high-definition on YouTube and through its mobile devices, the ground-breaking launch will give fans and media the chance to ‘meet' BRC Racing Team drivers Norbert Michelisz and Gabriele Tarquini (pictured). They can also comment and chat with the ace pairing through the hashtags #brcgasequipment and #brcracingteam.

BRC Marketing Manager Davide Colombano said: "The decision to go live streaming on the internet comes out of the new commitment that the team is carrying out worldwide and on the digital communication programme that has always seen BRC in the forefront. In addition to our consolidated presence on the web and on social media, we have recently launched the restyled BRC app and soon the new brcracingteam.com website will allow motorsport fans to better follow the new racing season."

Pierre-Louis Loubet and co-driver Vincent Landais, who will contest rounds of the FIA European Rally Championship in a Hyundai i20 R5, will also be taking part in the online launch. Like the WTCR, the ERC is promoted by Eurosport Events.
