Huff wins TAG Heuer Best Lap Trophy in WTCR weekend finale

Briton Rob Huff claimed the TAG Heuer Best Lap Trophy by setting the fastest race lap of the weekend in the WTCR Race of Hungary finale.

The SLR VW Motorsport driver set a time of 1m55.046s in his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR to eclipse the fastest laps from Races 1 and 2. Huff finished seventh in the race after a strong battle with WTCR / OSCARO points leader Néstor Girolami.

Comtoyou Team Audi Sport’s Frédéric Vervisch set the fastest lap in Race 1 with a time of 1m55.613s, while WTCR / OSCARO newcomer Attila Tassi set a mark of 1m55.933s in a hectic Race 2 driving his KCMG Honda Civic Type R TCR.
