Homola looks to Vila Real win for Wuhan WTCR inspiration
Mato Homola will recall his breakthrough victory in the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO at Vila Real when the China WTCR double-header continues in Wuhan this week (5-7 October).
Like Vila Real in Portugal (pictured), Wuhan is also a street circuit and Homola will be hoping for a similar performance level after he and DG Compétition team-mate Aurélien Comte struggled for form at Ningbo last weekend in their PEUGEOT 308TCRs.
"I'm not happy, we are amongst the last third of the racing field and this is not the zone I want to be in," said Slovak Homola. "I believe in Wuhan we will be more successful, as this will be a city circuit, similar to Vila Real, where we were really successful. We keep our fingers crossed."
