Guerrieri wins WTCC TAG Heuer Fastest Lap Trophy

The Campos Racing driver guided his Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1 to a convincing victory from fourth on the reverse grid, and set the fastest lap of the race along the way, with a time of 2m03.753s. He set the benchmark on lap 11, after he'd passed Yann Erhlacher's RC Motorsport entry for the lead and was controlling the pace from the front.

Only three laps behind the safety car were run in the Main Race before organisers were forced to throw the red flag and call it a day because of worsening conditions, leaving Guerrieri's Opening Race lap as the new WTCC record at the 4.015-kilometre circuit.
