Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS: 36 cars in Vallelunga
Full line up for the first of the seven Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS season double venues which will start this weekend in Vallelunga (5-6-7 April). On the track near Rome, green light for 36 cars with a top international level. There will be 13 teams and drivers from 18 different countries. At its third year the Fast Lane Promotion Series, with the updated cars, confirms itself as the point of reference in motorsport for youngsters.
Team Koiranen Motorsport, after having seized in 2012 the Drivers' Title with the Russian Daniil Kvyat, will be regularly on track. The Finnish team will line up the Polish Alex Bosak, the Estonian Hans Villemi and the Brazilian Guilherme Silva, all three at their second year in the Series, alongside the Dutch Nick de Vries (among the 2012 Eurocup protagonists) and the other Russians Semen Evstigneev and Nikita Zlobin.
Full line up also for Tech1 Racing, twice winner of the Team's Title and in 2011 Drivers Champion with the Spanish Javier Tarancon. Five drivers for the French team: the Canadian Luke Chudleigh, the French Pierre Gasly and Matthieu Vaxiviere and the Russians Egor Orudhzev and Igor Taranov. Among the newcomers there is the Vincenzo Sospiri Euronova Racing with the trio made up by the Venezuelan Javier Amado, the Scottish Gregor Ramsay and the Japanese Ukyo Sasahara. Debut time also for the Swiss Jenzer Motorsport, ready to take the challenge with the young Swiss Kevin Joerg, the Russian Denis Korneev, the German Max Schaumburg-Lippe and the Singaporian Andrew T ang. New in the Series also TS Corse with the Italian Pietro Peccenini.
Spolights also on Prema and BVM Racing, that after having joined the last two rounds of the 2012 Season, will be part of the whole upcoming series. With the Angelo Rosin structure, good driving from the 16 y/o Italian Antonio Fuoco, the fastest in the testing session last 21st of March on the same Vallelunga track. Attention also for the other Italian Luca Ghiotto and the Brazilian Bruno Bonifacio. Two cars for BVM Racing. The first will be for Dario Capitanio and the second for the Indian Parth Ghorpade, the latest arriving from F.China.
Ready for the challenge during the testing sessions also the Russian Konstantin Tereshchenko, along with the Mexican Alejandro Abogado and the Portuguese rookie Francisco Mora racing for Interwetten. Four French for Arta Engineering: Joffrey De Narda, Simon Gachet, Simon Tirman and William Vermont. Among the Italian Teams to be underlined the presence of the 2012 F.Renault 2.0 Italia winner Kevin Gilardoni, top drive for GSK Grand Prix with the Russian Dzhon Simonyan being his team mate. Two drivers also for Team Torino Motorsport, which confirmed the new-entry Alberto Di Folco and the Australian with Italian origins Josh Raneri. Viola Formula Racin g will be on track with Daniele Cazzaniga.
Another absolute novelty will be the live streaming coverage available on www.renaultsportitalia.it. This will include both races (25' Plus a lap) scheduled for Saturday at 17 e Sunday at 15 and the qualifying session timed for Saturday morning at 10.15. All free practices will be on Friday.
