For Alessandro Perico the 2012 sporting season begins with new challenges in Italy and in Europe

For the strong driver from Bergamo, the first seasonal event will be the 35th Rally del Ciocco e Valle del Serchio, the first round of the 2012 Italian Rally Championship, one of the finest Italian rallies to be held this weekend (22 - 23 to 24 March ) with start and finish at Castelnuovo Garfagnana. The following scheduled event will be Rally 1000 Miglia (19 - 20 to 21 April - Brescia), the second round of both the Italian and European Championship. As his co-driver, as per "tradition" Fabrizio Carrara.

The winner of the 2005 Rally Sanremo will be at the start with the Peugeot 207 Super 2000, with  PIRELLI tyres, which will be provided by Team Pa Racing, the team that last year enabled him to be one of the main actors of the Italian rally season. "After the Sebino Rally, which I did as a pre-season test, the official season begins now, with United Business who follows my sports management, we decided to be in Ciocco and 1000 Miglia, after these two events we will have more elements to decide whether to remain in the Italian series or to continue the season in the European Championship. The decision that will arise will be due both to sporting considerations sports and to marketing/ advertising reasons, whichever championship I will take part into I am aware that the team Pa Racing and Pirelli will provide the greatest technological evolution. I must give a big thank you to Pirelli, in all these years working together they have always provided excellent tyres, with them and through them I had lots of satisfaction. 2012 in Italy or Europe? Today I have not yet decided, my heart, of course, beats for the Italian Championship, but facing new challenges in Europe intrigues me, last year I attended some European Championship races of some of my fellow drivers of United Business and I must say that these events are beautiful,  with an incredible setting of public. The final decision, after the 1000 Miglia rally, will be taken according on commitments and contractual reasons which we are defining with our advertising partners. For now it is still premature to talk about how the season will continue, I must think only about the Rally del Ciocco, my goal for this race is the podium, I am aware that the opponents are very strong and very fast, it will not be easy, but Fabrizio, Pa Racing and I will give our best".

A very determined Alessandro Perico, aware of the excellent technical material at his disposal, this can be seen in the eyes of one of the fastest and most talented Italian drivers, in the Rally del Ciocco, a race where he has always performed well, the driver from Bergamo, we are sure, will fight with professionally and with great tenacity to reach the podium.
