Fierce rivalry during the Volkswagen Castrol Cup in Poznan

After Mateusz Lisowski's victory in the first race, it was Jan Kisiel who won the second one. The leader of the overall classification after the first round is Jakub Litwin. In Poznan we could admire Jerzy Dudek - one of the most recognizable Polish goal keepers.
Competitors raced in a specially prepared Golfs GTI with maximum power 310 bhp (with Push-to-pass system).

The second race started at 16:15. The top eight drivers from the first race lined up on the grid in reverse order, which meant that the first field was occupied by Mexican Sebastian Ramirez. At the beginning there was a collision between Robertas Kupcikasem, Michal Slomian and Mateusz Lisowski, as a result, none of them finished the race. Halfway through the race Jan Kisiel was leading, Sebastian Ramirez was the second and Jakub Litwin was third.

On lap 12, Jakub Litwin, who had more Push-to-pass in use went ahead of Sebastian Ramirez. The race was won by Jan Kisiel. The biggest promotion was recorded by Maciej Steinhof, who started from the last grid and finished the race finished on the 7th position. The fastest woman was again Klaudia Podkalicka who was eleventh.

Quotes after race 2:

Robert Kisiel
After not very successful qualifications, I did not think I'll manage so well. I would like to thank my engineer and manager. We had good tire pressure in the second race and it brought results. The car was great.

Jakub Litwin
I knew perfectly that in front of me Sebastian Ramirez has less Push-to-Pass, so my goal was to overtake him at the end of the race. It paid off, and I am extremely pleased. Generally the weekend was perfect for me. After all I'm the leader of Volkswagen Castrol Cup.

Sebastian Ramirez
The second race was fantastic. Although I was unable to fend off the attacks of Jakub Litwin, but third place is a dream for me. While I have a little experience in driving the car and did not know the Poznan track, everything worked out great.
