Ehrlacher expects Ningbo changes for WTCR
Yann Ehrlacher expects the Ningbo International Speedpark to have changed when the WTCR - FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO visits next month.
Ehrlacher has experience of the 4.010-kilometre track in southern China following the FIA World Touring Car Championship event there last October.
"The track will have changed a lot because last year we were the first category to drive on it so for sure the grip will have changed," he said.
Part of the ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport line-up in WTCR OSCARO, Ehrlacher finished second in the first of two races in a RC Motorsport LADA Vesta on what was then an all-new track in 2017 (pictured). He has high hopes for another strong weekend when he competes in a Honda Civic Type R TCR from 28-30 September.
"It was a good race for us because we finished P2 so good memories and I think the track could be good for the Honda [this year] because there is not a lot of straight line so it could be better for us than Slovakia."
