Debate of the Day: What should be F1’s next destination?

With the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship calendar confirmed could the sport continue to look further afield for new destinations in the future.

With the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship calendar formally confirmed with 21 rounds of action ahead thanks to the return of the German and French races, could the sport continue to look further afield for new destinations in the future.

New F1 owners Liberty Media are eager to find more commercial successes and take the sport to new markets with rumours of a second race in the United States considered as well as a potential in additional races in Asia. In recent seasons races in India, South Korea and Turkey have all been and gone from the F1 calendar. Turkey's Istanbul Park circuit designed by Hermann Tilke was a firm favourite with drivers in the past before it dropped of the calendar at the end of 2011 and with minimal updates the track could see the return of F1.

There are also multiple countries who have historically held F1 races only to see their circuits lose backing and fall into disrepair such as the iconic Kyalami Racing Circuit in South Africa. While returning to some classic circuits looks impossible as F1 has outgrown tracks, like Brands Hatch, is there a memorable favourite which you'd love to see make a comeback.

Check out the full 2018 F1 race calendar here as well as the dates for your diary. We want to know what circuits or venues you would like to see on future F1 calendars, whether it is historical tracks, modern classics or even brand new venues.
