Confirmed entry list for RallycrossRX of France

Round seven of the FIA European Rallycross Championship takes place at Loheac, France this weekend (Aug 31 / Sept 1).

On top of permanent RallycrossRX stars the event features a huge number of wildcards and national heroes.

Nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb heads the wildcard list and will be hoping to impress in front of his home fans;

"Loheac is the temple of rallycross", said Loeb of his return to rallycross back in May. "This is a well-known event with a very big crowd. In a sportive side, this is also a very tough race."

Fellow WRC driver Kris Meeke also makes his first RallycrossRX start, at the wheel of a Peugeot 208, and is excited about the prospect of racing a rallycross Supercar;

"I'm blown away, I don't think I've ever driven a supercar with this amount of horsepower, it's just incredible," said Meeke. "Loheac gives me the perfect chance to put myself up against the best in the business in one of the best cars in the business."

Tanner Foust returns to the championship and hopes to continue his 100% success rate having already claimed victory in his first two outings this year.

A whole host of current and former French national champions line up in Loheac hoping to upset the order. Top of the list are the father and son team of Jean-Luc and Fabien Paillier, alongside current French championship leader Jerome Grosset-Janin.

The RallycrossRX regulars will be in action in Super1600, but will have their work cut out in the 40-strong field. Former French champion and European event winner Steve Bossard enters the event in a Renault Clio and is hoping for a top result.

TouringCar will provide entertaining racing as the battle for the championship lead heats up in France.
