Breen and Hirvonen to tackle Rallylegend

The pair will tackle the San Marino-based asphalt rally in World Rally Cars that graced the championship's stages 10 years ago.

Citroën team driver Breen will take the wheel of a C4 WRC - the same model that carried Sébastien Loeb to four WRC titles between 2007-2010. He'll contest the three-day event alongside his WRC co-driver Scott Martin.

Hirvonen is entered in a car that will be very familiar to him - a Ford Focus WRC. The Finn claimed 12 wins for Ford in various evolutions of the model from 2006 until 2010 - and famously came within one point of winning the drivers' championship in 2009.

It will be Hirvonen's first taste of competition in a World Rally Car since a one-off appearance at a Spanish national rally in a MINI John Cooper Works in 2015, a year after he retired from the WRC. He'll be joined in the Focus by long-time co-driver Jarmo Lehtinen.

This year's event will celebrate 50 years of Martini in motorsport and will bring together iconic Martini-liveried cars and their drivers. One star already confirmed is two-time world champion Miki Biasion, who took the 1988 and 1989 titles in a Martini Lancia Delta Integrale.
