Bernardo Sousa on a Peugeot S2000 wins the Rally 2 delle Colline against WRC cars

The crew Bernardo Sousa - Corrado Mancini, on a Peugeot 207 S2000 wins the Rally 2 delle Colline (Chieri - Italy) this weekend. The crew of United Business, at their first time on the Piedmont special stages, with the car already used at this year's Rallye du Valais and Monza Rally Show, led the race from the start, winning the first two special stages and keeping their rivals at bay in the second part. A remarkable performance from the strong young Portuguese driver who, in his first participation in the event, which took place on a sunny day but with stretches of wet road that caused many retirements, stood up to the more performing WRC cars, which finished on the lower steps of the podium.

"A great victory in a tough race - said Pier Liberali of United Business - Bernardo has confirmed all the good that he had previously shown, albeit being young he is very talented with already so much experience. Surely the fact that he was in front of more powerful WRC cars, such as the Citroen C4 WRC and the Ford Fiesta WRC pays tribute to the quality of the driver and of the car supplied by PA Racing, as well as the Pirelli tyres, who proved very performing. I am convinced that it is a good end to the season, and the prelude to a great 2012". For the Portuguese driver it is the first victory after only three events under the colours of United Business, a good feeling has already been established between the driver and Corrado Mancini, who after the Monza Rally Show was co-driving the Portuguese also in this Italian event.
