Bennani ‘keeping all doors open’ ahead of WTCR season opener
Mehdi Bennani believes he can win the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO in 2019.
The Moroccan is one of an illustrious list of race-winning names on the #WTCR2019SUPERGRID.
Starting his fifth season with Sébastien Loeb Racing, Bennani will once again have a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR at his disposal as he bids for glory. And his hopes are high.
“When something is in your mind, even when it is not possible, you tell your mind to imagine things can be possible even when it’s 99 per cent impossible,” said Bennani, who will have the honour of racing on home soil next week when Marrakech hosts WTCR Race of Morocco. “In Morocco our culture is to open all the doors for things to be possible. I never close the door that I will not be the winner. I try to do my best because, in our life, if we don’t imagine some things, then it’s over.”
WTCR Race of Morocco takes place from 5-7 April.
